# Free GBP Appeal Evidence Redaction Checklist

Use this before uploading documents, screenshots, job records, invoices, or other evidence with a Google Business Profile suspension appeal.

The goal is simple: show the facts needed for the appeal while avoiding unnecessary private details.

## Review each file

- [ ] The file supports a specific profile fact.
- [ ] Customer names are hidden unless truly necessary.
- [ ] Customer phone numbers and email addresses are hidden.
- [ ] Customer signatures are hidden.
- [ ] Account numbers, payment details, card data, and bank details are hidden.
- [ ] Tax identifiers and unrelated registration numbers are hidden.
- [ ] Private owner details are hidden unless needed for the specific document.
- [ ] Staff notes, dispatch notes, and property access notes are hidden.
- [ ] Unrelated jobs, unrelated service areas, and unrelated old business details are removed.
- [ ] The file name describes the evidence without exposing private details.
- [ ] The appeal statement only references the fact the file supports.

## Three-pass workflow

1. Confirm what profile fact the file supports.
2. Cover or remove details that are not needed for that fact.
3. Rename the file so it is easy to reference in the cover sheet.
