MapAppeal Kit

Appeals tool checklist

Google Business Profile appeals tool checklist before you submit

The appeals tool is not the place to discover that your documents, website, and profile facts disagree. Use this checklist before you sign in, select the suspended profile, and decide whether to add evidence.

What Google says to prepare for

Google Business Profile Help says to make sure the profile follows guidelines before appealing, to use the appeals tool while signed in to the related Google account, and to submit optional evidence within the evidence form window when prompted.

What this checklist does

MapAppeal Kit is separate from the appeals tool and does not submit anything to Google. It helps you prepare a consistent local evidence packet before you use Google's flow.

Before opening the evidence form

Have the files, file names, and short upload notes ready. Do not rely on the upload window to build the packet from scratch.

Before submitting the appeal

Make sure the appeal statement says what changed, what is compliant now, and which attached evidence supports the business facts.

After submission

Keep a local log of the date, profile, evidence list, and decision email. Do not submit duplicate appeals for the same issue while waiting.

When the paid pack is useful

If your issue is simple and your evidence is already consistent, the free tools may be enough. If the packet still needs document matching, appeal wording, and submission tracking, the $19 worksheets are the next step.
